Meet Louisa

A highly organised Virtual Assistant with 20 years experience supporting small business owners in areas such as marketing, executive assistance, office management and general administration.

In Louisa's own words, she tells you a little about herself below so you can get to know her. 

Get to know me

Hi, I'm Louisa, a naturally calm and methodical person who thrives on being ultra-organised and efficient. A reliable, trustworthy and professional Virtual Assistant who is passionate about assisting small businesses to grow and run more efficiently. Through my previous experience working closely at Director level, I am easy to work with, have excellent communication skills and will always strive to provide a proactive level of support to my clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. We live in Dorset on the south coast and love nothing more than enjoying walks on the beach or exploring the New Forest. My other passions include gardening (I’m a huge Monty Don fan!) yoga or sitting down with a good book and a cup of tea!

Throughout my career, I have worked with small to medium sized businesses and this is what I truly enjoy. Working closely with entrepreneurs to help them grow their business is my passion.

I have experience of using the following systems within my role, Asana, Canva, Trello, Click Up, Hootsuite, Wix, Google Suite, Airtable, Notion, Hubspot, Podia, Calendly, WordPress and Slack.

My professional qualifications include a Diploma in Digital Marketing and an Executive Secretaries Diploma, these complement my skills and experience and enable me to provide a high level of service to my clients.

My previous experience includes joining a recruitment business that was, at the time, in its infancy. Working closely with the two Directors to put systems in place to allow them to focus on successfully growing the business to more than double the size in just a few short years.

Other skills include creating marketing strategies/plans, social media content, copywriting, proofreading, formatting documents and general project management. I help bring organisation and clarity to businesses by identifying areas that may need improving or creating processes and procedures to help streamline their daily business activities.

I also work closely with clients supporting them with their marketing tasks and projects, this includes creating graphics for social posts, writing copy, researching hashtags and scheduling. As with other projects I have extensive experience in taking ownership of these aspects of a business to allow the clients to focus on their own tasks knowing that these projects will run seamlessly in the background.

  • Louisa provides great support, mainly with our marketing and social media needs. This includes: researching, writing posts, sourcing images and scheduling content on our social media feeds, working with our website designer on a new website, and producing short animations for professionally scripted promotional material. I have been very struck by Louisa’s calm, methodical and professional approach and have asked her to increase her hours so she can also do some high-level and confidential administration work for us.
