Meet Katrina
Katrina is a freelance Virtual Assistant, providing administrative support for business owners to improve efficiency, and promote growth and sustainability within their organisation. She has 26 years of experience working within management roles in various health sectors including the Royal Navy Medical Branch and NHS, assisting with the delivery of Primary & Secondary Healthcare services. Most recently gaining experience and knowledge within the private medical sector, managing a Laser and Aesthetic Skin Clinic.
Katrina has developed extensive administration skills and has demonstrated her adaptability and versatility within those sectors.

Get to know me
Hi, I’m Katrina, I work from home in Neath, South Wales, where I live with my husband, two daughters and two huskies. I love all things admin and am a very organised person, always planning ahead. My favourite saying is ‘Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today’.
As a family, we love the outdoors and go caravaning wherever possible. I love being a freelancer as it gives me the freedom to spend more time with my huskies, exploring new walks.
I have strong transferable skills, with an ability to adapt my expertise and experiences to benefit any business. I am a proactive self-starter who is quite happy working alone but equally at home leading or as part of a team and am a strong team player.
I always strive to give my best and although at times do not always have a solution, fully apply myself to complete the task by an alternative method. There is always a way to succeed.

My main aim is to assist other small business owners by streamlining their business and helping to find the extra time and capacity for all of those other important things in their lives. I am a robust problem solver and enjoy improving internal processes and systems to facilitate and enhance efficiency. I like to provide innovative solutions to utilise all available resources effectively to maximise operability.
I assist my clients with a variety of administration tasks including formatting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing their social media accounts.
I am experienced and confident using different software systems and am very familiar with medical systems such as Cliniko, Vision and Emis.
I am not afraid to try new systems and am passionate about technology, innovation and any challenging tasks.
